A large part of Gerber’s brand rests in legacy. So when they released a new incarnation of their keystone, and best selling knife of 25 years, they encountered some hurdles. They needed to appeal to a younger audience, but maintain affinity with their older following - they needed to pass down their tradition.
We see this inheritance in the hunting world, too - each of us has experienced it through our own mentors. With a traditional family whitetail hunt, we were able to capture what Gerber stands for and blend it with our own brand of narrative storytelling to sell one of the simplest pieces of hunting equipment.
